Description.
Carved from a single block of honey-coloured Shoushan stone. It depicts a luohan reclining on his side and holding a ruyi sceptre in his right hand. Beside him, a fantastical creature with flowing mane looks at him affectionately. The folds of the clothing are arranged with great dynamism and are enriched with small inlays of coloured stones. An inscription is engraved on the back.
