Description.
A square seal carved from cream-coloured Shoushan stone. The upper knob features protective beasts in high relief, with sinuous feline bodies and forked tails, set upon a stepped pedestal. The base bears sigillary characters for stamping. Includes a wooden box. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
