Description.
Ritual object or seal made of silver and carved lapis lazuli, with semi-precious stone inlays. The base or handle is cylindrical, with a conical foot, decorated with embossed Buddhist motifs and small coloured stones set into it. On top of this is a large carved lapis lazuli stone, with an organic shape and rounded edges. The matrix is the circular base engraved with the representation of a mythical animal among scrolls. 19th century (Tibet).
