Description.
Made of silver. The obverse features a central calligraphic inscription surrounding the Yin-Yang symbol, flanked by characters indicating the Guangxu era and its face value of 7 Mace and 2 Candareens. The reverse is dominated by the figure of an imposing mystical dragon surrounded by clouds and scrolls, framed by the perimeter inscription ‘KIRIN PROVINCE’ in Western characters. The piece stands out for its historical importance as an international trade coin, retaining excellent definition in the relief of the dragon's scales and the pearl border.
