Small bronze figure of ‘Vajrapani’, Tibet, 19th–20th century

Crafted in bronze with a dark patina and traces of red polychromy. The deity is depicted in the alidhasana posture, with the right hand raised holding a vajra and the left hand in the karana mudra to dispel negativity. It stands on a base of skulls and is framed by a halo of flames. On the reverse, a Tibetan character is engraved.
