Description.
Crafted from jade of a deep olive-green hue with areas of whitish calcification. The object has the classic ‘Cong’ form, with a square cross-section and a circular central perforation. There is no decoration; the surface is smooth and polished. Qijia culture (c. 2200–1600 BC) or later.
