Description.
Carved white jade with subtle dark inclusions. The work features a format inspired by ancient ritual vessels, with an ovoid body followed by a slender neck flanked by an openwork handle and finished with a flared mouth. The decoration features decorative bands of incised fretwork on the neck and belly. Qing dynasty (1644–1911).
