Description.
A carved amber-toned stone figure depicting a Luohan seated in a relaxed pose with his legs bent on a wooden base carved with floral and rocaille motifs. The bald figure, with a serene, smiling expression, holds a ruyi staff in his right hand, a symbol of longevity and spiritual power. He wears a robe with finely defined folds that reveal the attention to detail in the carving. Beside him is a playful lion, reinforcing his association with protection and spiritual energy. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
