Description.
Oil on panel. A work of devotional warmth depicting a scene in which the Virgin Mary, crowned, holds the Baby Jesus adorned with a necklace and bracelet of red beads. The Virgin's face shows a serene and melancholic expression, while the Child, with his robust build and golden curls, brings naturalism to the scene.
