Description.
Carved and polished jade bead, spherical with a hole in its central axis. The colour is a combination of mottled and veined patterns, with a predominant background of creamy white to light beige tones, crossed by emerald green inclusions and brown oxidation veins. The decoration is based on the natural patterns and veins of the stone. Hongshan culture (c. 4700–2900 BC).
