Description.
Ivory-toned jade piece with dark veins. The upper part is topped by a finely carved figure of a dragon in a dynamic pose, with an arched, muscular body. The base bears the incised inscription ‘处事接物当务诚朴’. Ming dynasty (1368–1644) or later.
