‘Sweet Nell’ porcelain doll by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck (ABG), large-format mould no. 1362, featuring a bisque head engraved with the firm’s monogram, closed eyes and an open mouth. Original articulated composite body with a rattle in the back and minor damage to the hands; wearing a period blue dress, lace and a matching bonnet.
