Description.
Crafted from natural turquoise of an intense blue hue, with areas of brown and ochre discolouration. The piece has a cylindrical shape decorated with bas-reliefs and fine incisions depicting mythical Taotie masks with prominent eyes and intertwining clouds in an archaic style. Warring States period (475–221 BC) or later.
