Two blue-and-white porcelain "Flowers and Butterflies" Qing dynasty dishes

Description.

Two enamelled porcelain dishes of different sizes with blue and white decoration on the inside. The smaller dish has a thin border around the rim with geometric motifs, followed by three large butterflies accompanied by leaves and small chrysanthemums surrounding a central flower framed by a thin circle. The larger-diameter dish shows a central flowering branch surrounded by a double blue circle that is repeated on the rim. Around the perimeter, three large groups of branches covered with flowers and leaves are arranged in the same central composition. The reverse is glazed in brown on the outside and white on the base. One of them has a blue mark under the glaze. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).

The one with the largest diameter has slight damage to the rim.
