Description.
An amulet with an ovoid, domed profile, carved from natural two-tone agate in shades of emerald green and white with ochre veins, featuring two holes for hanging. The piece makes organic use of the mineral’s bands to form sinuous patterns that are both aesthetic and protective in nature. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
