Description.
A pair of Shoushan stone seals in a honey-coloured tone with a waxy texture, preserved in their period case with a bespoke stand bearing the inscription ‘Imperially bestowed to the Thirteenth Imperial Son, Prince Yi of the Heshuo Rank, from the collection of Prince Yi, the Thirteenth Imperial Son’. The tops feature exquisitely sculpted imperial dragons in high relief alongside a sacred pearl set against a backdrop of clouds and waves. The front faces bear incised inscriptions, and both square bases display seal impressions with traces of red sealing wax. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
