White Hetian jade plaque, ‘Landscape and Poem’, Qing Dynasty

High-quality Hetian jade, with a pure white hue and high translucency. The obverse features a landscape scene finely carved in bas-relief, depicting a sage and his servant in a garden with a pond. The reverse bears a calligraphic inscription in relief, surmounted by two seals. The plaque is framed by a border of cloud and ‘ruyi’ scroll motifs at the top. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).  or later.
