Description.
White jade with a subtle antique patina. The piece is circular, consisting of a base and a lid. The lid features a mythological dragon in bas-relief, surrounded by cloud motifs and spiral scrolls, while the sides are decorated with a continuous band of plant scrolls and stylised waves. Liao dynasty (916–1125) or later.
