Description.
Carved white jade figure. It is adorned with two infants playing with an object. The decoration is based on the soft carving of the child figures, with large heads, chubby bodies, and incised details on their clothing. The piece is presented on a carved wooden base with an openwork design of branches and floral scrolls. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
