Description.
A beautiful white-veined jade, carved in the form of an old man with a sharp face, a long beard and hair tied up in a high bun. The body, covered with traditional robes, is arranged in an upright position, with the legs and arms bent, and the left hand is placed on a small basket with a lid decorated with geometric patterns of concentric lozenges. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
