Description.
Jade of an excellent white hue, featuring a gently polished surface and areas of colour variation. It depicts the bust of a horse, rendered with remarkable anatomical realism, notable for its erect ears, almond-shaped eyes and imposing teeth. It shows a patina resulting from ageing. Warring States period (475–221 BC) or later.
