Description.
A piece sculpted in white jade with cream and ochre hues, carved to represent a rounded, fleshy peach. The gently hollowed upper cavity suggests its use as an inkwell or brush-cleaning container. The outer surface is adorned with plant leaves and stems rising in relief from the base to the sides. These plant elements are finely detailed, with veins and gentle curves. The entire composition rests on a custom-carved, oval-shaped wooden base that complements its organic form and facilitates its display. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
Size: 3.5 × 9 × 10 cm
