White jade plaque carved "Children and Poem", Qing Dynasty

Rectangular white jade plaque finely carved and decorated with reliefs. One side depicts a central scene with two children in a festive pose, one holding a rope with a dragon-shaped piñata under a tree and the other accompanying him, in front of a traditional building. The upper border is decorated with stylised clouds. On the reverse is a long poem, accompanied by a plant in the lower corner. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
