Press 'Program an autobid'in order to confirm
A finely carved white jade teapot from Hetian, with an oval shape and a low body. The teapot has a short, narrow, slightly curved spout and a round, irregular handle. On either side of the body is a lush decoration in high relief, consisting of plum blossom branches. The lid, also made of jade, fits snugly over the mouth of the teapot and culminates in a small spherical knob. The interior is hollow and polished, allowing it to be used functionally as well as decoratively. On the base of the teapot is a four-character inscription “乾隆年制”, framed in a gently sunken circle. The teapot is preserved in excellent condition and is accompanied by a custom-made box, lined in burgundy textile. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
