Description.
White jade seal in rectangular format. The top features a double dragon, with large heads facing each other, joined at the shoulder blades behind sturdy legs. The claws and manes are marked with incisions, and there is a central hole for hanging. The jade is creamy white, with a reddish-brown and ochre patina. The matrix is engraved with ‘画禅室’. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
