White porcelain cup with blue border, Qing Dynasty

A thin-walled, cylindrical porcelain cup with white glaze and underglaze cobalt-blue decoration. It has a stylized double vegetal border on the lower part of the body, executed with precision and symmetry. The interior is plain and undecorated. On the base is the six-character seal ‘大清康熙年制’ in underglaze blue inscribed in a double circle. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
