Press 'Program an autobid'in order to confirm
Panel made of dark-coloured wood, with a rectangular structure and high base, with a small decorative central drawer. The sides of the stand have carved scroll finials and curved legs with openwork details. In the centre of the panel is a rectangular-shaped white jade plaque, delicately engraved with incisions. The scene shows the figure of Guanyin seated in a meditative posture on a round mat. The deity is dressed in a neatly folded robe, a pearl necklace, and a high decorated crown. Her serene, slightly bowed face suggests introspection and compassion. The setting includes a landscape of craggy rocks and floating clouds, a tall vase placed on an ornamental base, and bamboo branches. The reverse of the panel is plain, highlighting the natural grain of the wood. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
