Description.
Intricately carved wooden box in the shape of a root, known as the ‘Hand of Buddha’, a symbol of prosperity. The surface is lavishly decorated with an intricate relief pattern of knots, branches and intertwined leaves. The wood, with its rich dark tone, has a smooth and lustrous patina.
