Description.
A beautifully carved Hetian jade plaque of yellow 黃玉 (Huáng yù). It has a flat rectangular shape, with two archaic beasts flanking the edges. It is decorated with meticulous detailing in relief and fretwork. In the center, there is a rectangular cartouche with characters written in different spellings.
