Description.
Made of yellow jade with natural iridescence. It has a large square base, topped by the image of a coiled dragon, with powerful features and detailed scales. The four sides are entirely engraved with calligraphic characters that contain Buddhist texts. The base contains characters for stamping.
The seal is presented on a pedestal and box made of Zitan (紫檀) wood, which is a work of art in itself: it has a cubic structure carved with scenes of landscapes, pine trees and delicate flowers. Qing dynasty (1644-1912).
