Description.
Yellow-green jade with notable patina and mineral alterations in ochre and white tones. The piece depicts a mythological bird in a compact position, with folded wings and a curved tail. The bas-relief carving stands out, with spiral scroll motifs and fine incisions detailing the plumage. It has small perforations for suspension. Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) or later.
