Description.
Yellow jade hairpin with an elongated, narrow body, finely crafted with reliefs depicting a stylised dragon among scrolls. An inscription of two characters can be seen in the centre. Hairpins of this type had both a practical and symbolic function. Qing dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
