Description.
A pendant in the shape of a domed rectangle, carved from celadon-coloured marillo jade with subtle areas of patina in shades of beige and off-white. Its surfaces are lavishly decorated with reliefs of archaic volutes. It has a fine polish with a waxy feel and features a hole for threading. Han Dynasty (202 BC–220 AD) or later.
