Description.
Ring pendant carved from yellow jade. The outer edge is decorated with four finely carved, serrated ridges. The flat surface of the disc is meticulously engraved in low relief with a dense pattern of archaic scrolls. It displays extensive areas of earthy patina in milky white and ochre tones, creating a chromatic contrast. Zhou dynasty (2nd century-221 BC).
