Yellow jade pendant, Zhou dynasty

Ring pendant carved from yellow jade. The outer edge is decorated with four finely carved, serrated ridges. The flat surface of the disc is meticulously engraved in low relief with a dense pattern of archaic scrolls. It displays extensive areas of earthy patina in milky white and ochre tones, creating a chromatic contrast. Zhou dynasty (2nd century-221 BC). or later.
