Description.
Yellow jade figure representing a phoenix in a stylized pose. It is finely carved, showing the mythological bird with its head held high and long feathers curling toward its back. The body is compact, the tail long and finely incised, and sturdy legs form a stable base. The stone is an attractive yellow-green color with natural reddish veins.
