Description.
Pale green jade seal, rectangular, with a sculptural finial in the form of a mythical beast in reverence, highlighting the animal's musculature and its hieratic expression. The matrix bears the engraved inscription ‘澄怀’ and traces of red sealing wax. It displays reddish-rust coloured veins. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
