Description.
Yellow jade seal with a yellowish-green hue and a profuse patina in shades of ochre and reddish brown. It depicts a beast reclining on a quadrangular base, with its head turned backwards, limbs tucked in and anatomical details incised and in relief. The base shows four characters incised in low relief. Song dynasty (960–1279).
