Description.
A snuff bottle made of yellow jade, globular and with a slightly flattened body. The sides of the bottle have two handles carved in the shape of the heads of mythical beasts with simulated rings in their mouths. One side shows a bas-relief landscape scene with traditional architecture and trees. The reverse is engraved with a long poem. The stopper is a hemispherical red stone with a fluted metal mount. It retains its custom-made box with blue and red cloth lining. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
