Ancient carved agate bead

Ancient carved agate bead (千年老珠), elongated cylindrical in shape with a widened centre and slightly rounded ends. The agate, which is a deep brown colour with honey-coloured areas, is decorated with a series of concentric circles arranged in the centre of the piece. The surface shows a remarkable patina due to ageing.
