Ancient ‘Dzi’ carved two-coloured agate

Two-tone carved agate (千年老古珠), cylindrical with rounded ends. The piece stands out for its striking colour contrast, made of agate in an almost black greyish tone with areas of intense white. It is decorated with a series of concentric circles, where the white stands out against the dark background. The surface shows a remarkable patina due to ageing.
