Antique natural agate Dzi beads

Natural agate bead, greyish brown in colour with a pattern of concentric bands in crisp white and ochre. The piece is spindle-shaped with rounded edges and has a longitudinal perforation for stringing as a protective object. Liao dynasty (916–1125).
