Description.
Blue-black agate with linear decoration of white veins. The piece has a short, compact spindle shape with rounded edges and a longitudinal perforation. The veins are arranged in parallel bands surrounding the ends. It shows patina and wear due to ageing. Liao dynasty (916–1125) or later.
