Description.
A circular, slightly convex bronze disc with relief decoration on the obverse. The centre of the disc depicts a bird in flight, possibly a stylised phoenix, surrounded by auspicious cloud motifs in a symmetrical arrangement. The surface shows greenish patina and oxidation typical of its age. The reverse is smooth with no visible inscription, although there are traces of corrosion. Late Ming dynasty (17th century) or later.
