Description.
Figure cast in gilded bronze representing Shakyamuni Buddha seated in lotus position on a rectangular base with wavy edges, with his hands in the bhumisparsha mudra gesture and holding an alms bowl. The serene face has a marked urn on the forehead, half-closed eyes and elongated ears. The head is crowned by a conical ushnisha with flaming detail. He wears a monastic robe ornamented with reliefs of auspicious discs. The lower part is open and shows the casting.
