Carved jade bead, Hongshan culture

Carved jade bead, reddish-brown with ochre areas. The piece is barrel-shaped, with a slightly curved profile, rounded edges and a central longitudinal perforation. It stands out for its robust construction and silky smooth polish. Hongshan culture (approx. 4700–2900 BC) or later.
