Carved jade pendant, Hongshan culture

Pendant made of carved jade, ochre in colour with intense reddish spots covering the surface. It has a quadrangular body with rounded edges and a narrow profile, notable for a central circular perforation for use as a pendant. It shows patina due to ageing. Hongshan culture (c. 4700-2900 BC).
