Carved jade pendant, Qijia culture

Carved jade in a pale green hue with white and brown veins. The piece has a stylised cylindrical shape that narrows in the centre, and a longitudinal perforation. It stands out for the elegance of its hourglass silhouette and the quality of the material. Qijia culture (approx. 2200–1600 BC) or later.
