Description.

Ivory-coloured lacquered wood with polychrome and gilding; a stylised case with a pediment top divided into volutes, featuring a central plinth and smooth-shafted columns framing the dial. The front and sides are decorated with oriental scenes. Gilded metal dial with Roman numerals and openwork plant motifs in the corners, crowned by an upper arch featuring an enamelled medallion bearing the inscription ‘Tempus Fugit’. Glazed central section revealing the pendulum.
