Embroidered silk wedding uchikake, 21st century

Uchikake or ceremonial over-kimono made of woven and embroidered silk with a polychrome background and a dominant use of gold metallic thread for the background and details. It has the morphology of an Uchikake, with a long cut, wide sleeves and a padded lower hem. The decoration is embroidered and woven with a motif of Manchurian cranes flying over a background of landscapes and flowers.
