Enamelled porcelain vase ‘Characters’, with Chenghua mark

Modelled porcelain in the form of an elegant vase with a circular base, on which is a stylised body with a rounded profile that narrows at the shoulders and ends in a long cylindrical neck crowned by a thick flaring mouth. The exterior is covered with an elegant white glaze, on which the remains of polychromes can be glimpsed, forming a continuous scene with figures and beautiful flowers. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大明成化年制’, executed in underglaze blue and framed by a double blue circle.
